A platform for health workers in regions facing armed conflict or violence to tell their stories in their own words and voices directly to a global audience.
About Us
Health Workers at the Frontline initiative is a story-telling and humanitarian analysis platform. It collects and displays short audio stories from health workers living and working in areas torn by armed conflict or violence, and analyzes health humanitarian issues raised by them.
This is a grassroots initiative which was founded by Rita Dayoub, a Syrian health humanitarian worker and an Academy Associate at Chatham House, London. It is managed through collaborations with local health workers in conflict zones, and it was born from the desire to tell their stories in their own words.
Our main objectives are raising awareness of the challenges faced by health providers who face armed conflict or violence, and enhancing global solidarity through story-telling.
